Formed in Arlington, VA we began by supporting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. Our commitment to technological innovation has catapulted us in a short time to make impacts for clients around the country.

Company Paid Insurance

We offer several different options for medical, dental, and health insurance, and for most options cover the entirety of the employee portion of the premium. There is no waiting period on the heath coverage.  The benefits are available to you day 1 and we also provide a full short-term disability insurance plan for all employees.

Retirement (401K)

Your eligible day 1 with automatic 5% company contributions to your retirement account, regardless of your own contribution amount. And your funds will grow faster than elsewhere, due to our provider's lack of account-holder fees and extremely low expense ratios. The company's 5% 401K contribution is vested immediately so It doesn’t matter how long you’re with BSI, it’s your money immediately.

Commuter Benefits

You will have access to a commuter benefits account, which Blue Sky will reimburse up to $150/month tax-free for qualified parking expenses, transit passes, or vanpools.

Flexible Time Off

Our generous PTO plan allows for you to use PTO when you need, for what you need. Whether it's vacation, sick time, or just a day where you need a break from the world, you have one combined bucket to use as needed. We also provide for eleven paid federal holidays.

Safe & Flexible Work Sites

Our contracts include locations in the Washington Capital Region (DC), Los Angeles (CA), Dayton (OH), Colorado Springs (CO), and Honolulu (HI). With the continued risk of COVID-19, we and our customers are doing everything we can to foster a safe work environment. Almost all of our contracts currently allow full-time telework arrangements and have robust plans for returning to offices when it's safe.

Team Socials

At Blue Sky, "work hard play hard" isn't a cliche, it's how we operate. We have monthly happy hours, a summer BBQ, annual holiday party, and at least one community/charity event per year.
